I was hired to create costume crafts for The Hunchback of Notre Dame at Waukesha Civic Theatre. I turned this into an independent study for school and worked with quite a number of new materials. I was able to sculpt gargoyle heads from expanding foam and make statue headgear from EVA foam. I returned to my great love paper mache and hand painted the French guard uniforms and a corseted top for one of the ladies. Quasi Modo’s fool’s crown was also a lot of fun to create.
